PTA News

Thank you for...

  • donating a homemade or store-bought pie for faculty and staff to enjoy over Thanksgiving break. The PTA will collect donations during morning drop off on 11/22. Please email presidenthooverpta@gmail.com with any questions.
  • giving to the Hoover Staff's Amazon Gift Registry.  New items are still being added.
  • participating in the next Spirit Night fundraiser on 12/14 at Klay Healthy Indian Eats (http://www.eatklay.com/) located at 9736 Traville Gateway Drive, Rockville.

  • Here is the Signup Genius link for the Hoover family that was displaced by last week's apartment explosion.
  • The Music Program's fruit fundraiser order deadline is today. Funds will support the cost of materials and the ensembles attendance at county and regional music festivals.  Click on this link to log on to the group fruit sale website.  Pick up will be the week of 12/12.  Email John Nagle if you have any questions.  
  • Principal Dr. Kim's November Monthly Message provides an overview of everything happening at Hoover, including important information for each grade and parent engagement opportunities.

  • The 6th Grade Outdoor Education Parent Meeting will be held virtually on 12/5 from 7-8 pm.  More details will be provided closer to the date.

  • The Health Room needs donations of gently used pants and sweatshirts in adult sizes S/M and a few L/XL. Donations should be dropped off in the Health Room. Contact Leah Goldberg or Teri Tomlinwith any questions.

  • Single event tickets and season passes for Winston Churchill's games can only be purchased online through GoFan.co.  If your student does not have a cell phone, have them bring a copy of the purchased ticket.  HERE is a list of athletic events.
