Student Service Learning is a Maryland state graduation requirement. 75 SSL hours are required to graduate. SSL Opportunities:
1) The Beverly Farms Elementary School PTA is looking for student volunteers to help with Club Beverly Farms (CBF). CBF is a party for elementary school students where they can dance, participate in games, crafts, and more. We are seeking student volunteers to help run activities during the event. Students who participate will be eligible for SSL hours.
When: Saturday, April 20th from 5:30-8:30 pm
Where: Beverly Farms Elementary School (8501 Post Oak Road)

2) Hey Hoover teens - more green, less screen! Drop your phones and come work for MSI! Calling all 7th graders and older who love soccer and would like to earn SSL hours (or get paid) while having fun! Our MSI Youth Game Leaders enthusiastically manage our soccer games for our first and second grade teams. MANY games are played at Hoover every weekend. Our YGL’s take responsibility for leading two to three hour-long games on Saturdays. You’ll learn valuable leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
