  4. Winston Churchill High School Ice Hockey Club is hosting a "Future Bulldogs" Clinic for Players in Grades 6, 7 & 8 on May 14 from 4:30-5:30 pm & May 15 from 4:40-5:40 pm at the Rockville Ice Arena, 50 Southlawn Court, Rockville, MD. All ice hockey players currently in grades 6, 7, and 8, who live in the Churchill High School cluster are invited.  Designed for both players and parents, this clinic offers a unique experience to learn about the WCHS ice hockey program, the Maryland High School Hockey League, the similarities and differences between house, travel and high school hockey, and how best to prepare for a high school hockey career.  The Club covers the full cost of the ice time, however there is a minimal charge of $10 (which covers both days), the purpose of which is to help ensure once a player signs up that he or she actually attends.  To attend, fill out the form at this link: https://forms.gle/ECNKYBNkzRDZAisk7.  Questions can be sent to WCHS_hockey@outlook.com.
  5. Winston Churchill's Sports Information Open House for incoming students and parents is scheduled for 5/29 from 6:30-7:30 pm. Click here for more details.
  6. Nominations are needed for Churchill Cluster Coordinators for the upcoming school year (2024-2025).  Up to three coordinators can represent the Churchill Cluster.  Past PTA Presidents as well as those who are interested in education advocacy and policy serve as excellent candidates. Candidates must have served on a PTA Board in any role and be current dues paying PTA members. Questions? Contact Susan Lifsey, Winston Churchill Cluster Coordinator at susanlifsey@gmail.com.
