Dear Hoover Families,

Welcome to the 2026–27 school year! We hope everyone had a wonderful summer. This past week, the PTA kicked things off by welcoming our amazing Hoover staff back with a lunch from Don Pollo!

A few reminders for next week: Monday, August 24th is Transition Day for incoming 6th graders (7:50 AM – 3:00 PM) and students new to Hoover in 7th & 8th grade (1:30 PM – 3:00 PM). Don't miss Hoover Community Day from 3:00 – 4:30 PM — come connect with fellow families!

Join the PTA! Your membership dollars help fund student activities, speaker events, field trips, staff appreciation, and so much more. 

A Note on the Drama Program
The drama elective and theater production will not be offered this year due to staffing considerations and curriculum priorities. However, Drama Club will be available as an after-school club, open to all students without a cap. We hope it provides a fun way for students to explore their creativity and love of theater.

We can't wait for a wonderful year ahead. See you soon!
