As we welcome October, we're excited for everything ahead — from After-School Activities kicking off to Halloween fun on the horizon. Transportation Updates
Please note: the school is not able to issue bus passes for students to ride a different bus than their assigned route, either before or after school — this includes requests to ride another bus for SSL hours at a local elementary school. Thank you for your understanding!

MCPS Community Engagement: Planning for the Future
MCPS has launched a countywide review of school utilization due to declining enrollment, which could lead to school closures or consolidations in the coming years. This year's process is focused on data review and decision-making only — a separate boundary study will follow next year. Two rounds of community engagement sessions are planned, and Hoover will host a Round 2 session on Tuesday, December 1, 6:30–8:30 PM. Read the full announcement here.
